HAPPY NEW YEARRRRR!

*throws confetti* Looks like my blog somehow survive ANOTHER year. 1st post of 2012! hurrah!

2011, filled with a lot of sweet memories and dramas and heartache and joy and....wow, thinking back, there WERE a lot of things happening in 2011.

Let's sum it all up, let's see how much I can remember what happen in my 2011.

Fondest memory would definitely be these few crazy girls/guys who were my colleagues(some ex-colleagues now) that turns good friends!

The best memory we have would have been the one where we went Melaka. Had a superb outing that day, it's been a while since I last have so much fun (tired as heck too but still fun!)

During that time, basically my life were revolved around work and my colleagues, times were really fun as I found out that they were people that I really can be myself when I'm around them and soon they becomes my really really good friends. We have lots of outing and we went and eat and all. it was really really fun that time.

That was the fun time, and then came the time where slowly, everyone that I've been good friend with, leave the company one by one in just a short period of time :( that was the low time. I was so sad because I've really become close to them, then the company wasn't the same anymore when they all leave.

Initially I was wanting to leave too, but somehow I stayed on, until now. Guess I am just someone that is hard to move out of my comfort zone once I am too deep in it.

And then there was when I got my anxiety disorder, it . was . SCARY . as hell. But I am super glad to say that I am over that, don't wanna elaborate on that, don't wanna be reminded of that feeling ever again!

Colleagues come and go, I soon have a bunch of new colleagues, some were really really good, some have became friends instead of just acquaintances, but somehow I can get the feeling I have with them as I have with the previous bunch of crazy gals. That was my special memories :)

Ups and downs in my relationship is a norm, would have been surprised if there was no usual bickering and arguments between us. But....wouldn't denied that this relationship has got me thinking A LOT. It's been nearly 5 years. Still I am still thinking a lot about "that". Sigh..

And then, I lost my Grandpa this year. :( It was a really really really sad moment. It was my 1st REAL funeral which involved a close family member of mine. The experience is......heartbreaking. I really couldn't bear to see my dad and my grandma cries. It totally breaks my heart into pieces. And it make me realize that we really should appreciate those that are around us while they are still around, don't wait until it's too late. We are really glad that we manage to spend Chinese New Year with grandpa before he leaves us forever. However, this year CNY will not be the same without him.. :'( First CNY without grandpa.. hope he rest in peace wherever he is...

Those are the few memories that are etches most deep in my heart, there are a lot of other things that happen too, way too many to jot down, if I were to write it all down it might be longer than all 7 Harry Potter books. :P

I didn't have any resolution this year. What's the point! I know I am not the type that set a plan and go according to it anyway, am the type of person that goes as things goes. Who knows what things life has got in store for you.

I have seen many people setting up new year resolution only to say "I never achieved my resolution" "time to set new year's resolution! Last year resolution is a failure" To be honest I haven't seen anyone tells me that the achieved their resolution. Why make it if you know you can't achieved it in the first place? But oh well, that's just my opinion.

Here's to a better year for everybody! *clink glass* And many more great years to come! ...if we survive 21/12/2012. HAHAHA! which we definitely will! It's not end of the world YET!

I just had an absolutely nightmarish week!

I was required to go to Genting Highlands for 5 days of work. My task was to given out 2012 calendars to the Genting Worldcard member, sounds simple enough right?

Yes you are right. BUT YOU WILL NEVER IMAGINE HOW HORRIBLE IT CAN TURN OUT!

The crowd was CRAZY!! Every single days there will be AT LEAST a thousand people that turn up to take the calendars, the highest record was the last day I was there which we had about THREE THOUSAND PEOPLE turn up to take the FREE calendars! We would be working non-stop and the crowd are usually the WORST in the morning when we started out at 10am.

This is like, maybe 5% of the packing we had done for the 1 day? lol

For this job we are required to pack up wall calendars, table top calendars and ang paos for the members. We would need to unpack boxes after boxes after boxes of calendars and ang paos and packing it for the customer. And we would have to work at lightning speed in order to shorten the queue as much as possible.

And this is like maybe 10% of the unboxing we had done for 1 day

My arms are all numb and cramp and pain after work everyday, and the pain only get worse day after day. And injuries on my hand are getting more and more each day too because the FRIGGIN wall calendars board has such sharp edges and I often didn't notice the cuts till at night when I'm lying down almost lifeless on my bed. And my leg are KILLING me too for standing all day and moving around barely had time to sit down.

Don't get me to mention all the fcking crazy rude customers who just likes to complaint abiut EVERYTHING SINGLE THING! Like helloooooooo!! Free calendars for you! just get it and get outta my face instead of shouting into it!

We have this strict rules where members couldn't collect the calendars on behalf of others. And naturally because of this we will be having some uncles and aunties who make noises bout it. BUT there is no one that stand out among all the other noise makers. There is this aunty who is shouting so loudly that a security guard came to us and ask us whether we need help in getting rid of her. Come ON it's just a friggin calendar you already have one! And since your husband is SO busy throwing his money away in the casino and refuse to come and take the calendar just take the one you already have and leave! Why have to be so damn greedy and kiasu that EVERY member of your family who is a member must HAVE a calendar. What you gonna do with all the calendars you take? BURN ONE EACH DAY?! please......!!! I swear I totally lost some respect to some elder people during this week.. WTF??

But besides the hectic work and lunatic customers, I DID actually had quite some fun times. :P
Meeting new colleague I never knew I had LOL! And also finding my friend who is working there whom I haven't been seeing for quite some time. He even treating me to Coffee Terrace for dinner buffet! Well, strictly speaking actually is Genting who treated us hahaha! And the weather is there is absolutely LOVELY! Loving the weather there remind me so much of Fraser's :')

But I can't help but feels super glad when it is finally time to come back to KL. I do wish next time I will have the chance to go work at Genting again but please, PLEASE not for such busy job again T.T

Friends, I have lose some and gain some. Some I lose for losing contact after not contacting each other for too long, some I lose for having some issues between us. I gain some friends in an unexpected ways, some whom I never thought we would become friend had became my best friends.

Some friends will truly be there for you when you need them, be it to share either your happiness or sadness, they doesn't need to say anything, their present alone and their willingness to listen to you is already more than enough to comfort you.

While some friends will only be there when they needed you. If help is needed for them then they will present themselves in front of you, and more often than not you will be willing to help them. Where as when you needed help, they are no where to be found, excuses are given and they will be avoiding you.

I have encountered both of these people. The latter ones, sad to say I am no longer friends with some of them. Some, wasn't as close as before, after all being taken advantages of isn't something fun. I didn't ask for anything in return when I gave help. But at least when I needed help I expect you will be willing and gladly to help me as I did helped you before. But obviously I wasn't getting what I hope for.

Real friends to me are, people who you can be around with and you can still totally be yourself without being judged. People who can talk about everything and anything under the sun and moon with you. People who can always shared their opinions with you. Friends that will corrects you when you are wrong and are willing to listen to you. And most importantly who doesn't back stab you and talk bad about you behind you. They will instead be telling it in front of your face that you are being an a-hole and that what you did is wrong and that you should not do what is not right and after all that, you guys will still be best friends.

Alas, people like this aren't easy to find. Let's face it, humans are easily offended, and most of us couldn't handle it well when being offended. And most friends will usually end up not talking to each other. As time grows the distant between them will grow too and in the end they're more like strangers than friends.

Therefore I feel really lucky to have such friends alongside me. I truly appreciate all my friends, and I really do hope that our friendships will last. Because it wasn't easy for me to find people like you guys. :)

Yes my blog is dead as usual, no matter how many times after I vow to revive it, it will be dead somehow. LOL!

I guess I should stop saying I will revived it and just leave it be. Will be just updating when I feel like it, which maybe once every month, or 2 months, or a year. HAHAHA!

Anyway today feels like checking my blog out so here I am, and was surprised to see I have quite a number of visitors from overseas, and I decided to see how they found out my blog.

Here's some of my favorite.

I couldn't stop laughing.

1. Happy girl with boy jumping. (WTF?! I am not aware my blog had such content LOL!)
2. Pervert creepy room. (some kind of weird fetish?)
3. Wild bed scene. (omg....... I SWEAR I DIDN'T POST SUCH STUFF!)
4. Peacock sick. (seriously....peacock?)
5. Humpty Dumpty dead.

Well, glad to know that I still have visitors.

So there I was trying to just eat my lunch at Popeye's Lousiana Kitchen (the next best thing after KFC apparently lol~) but yes it is undeniably good! Their mash potato is to DIE for! Chicken is tender and juicy and yummy!

THE MASH POTATO THAT IS WORTH DYING FOR!

But that is another story for another day.. *cough*

AS I WAS SAYING! I was looking forward to have a nice meal while stealing using their Wi-Fi there. Teehee~ BUT I WAS INTERRUPTED !

When I was lining up and deciding what to have, there's a few black dudes (not indian, but nigga. lolol~ sorry I know it's extremely rude) infront of me, one of them keep looking back at me and smiles, didn't want to be rude I smiled back.

Bad decision for trying to be a friendly Malaysian.

That must be the cue for him to start talking to me. He stays back when it was my turn to order. He have this creepy smiles and keep staring at me.

"Hi, having your lunch?
Duh... No I doing my laundry here, I should have say that. I just smiled and say "Yes."

"Where are you from?"

I'm from Venus, did you see my spaceship outside? Coolest thing evaaa ain't it?
"I'm from around here."

"Wow! You look like chinese!"

WTF? He must think Malaysia only have Malays
I just keep quiet and smiles. I mean, WHAT SHOULD I REPLY?!
Oh REALLY?? I thought I looked like indian all this while?

Then while I was ordering my food, he hangs back as if waiting for me, I kinda knew what was coming up. When I finish ordered my stuff....(taking away)

"Hey c'mon lemme pay for you."

BINGO!

OH WOW that's awfully nice of you do you mind paying for my 10 friends that's waiting outside to order too?
"No thanks. =)"

"Hey listen, can I get to know you more and be friends?"
NO I DON'T WANT TO BE FRIEND WITH YOU, YOU CREEPER STRANGER! MY MAMA SAY DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS!

"Uh....."

"Can I have your phone number so I can contact you? Keep in touch? =)"

"You can have my email instead =)"

And so in the end I gave him my email, which is inactive btw, lolol~ and went on my way.

This is not the first time this had happened to me. Back when I was staying at Sunway I always encountered all these....these..."OVER-FRIENDLY" people!!

What would you REALLY do when you encountered all these "over-friendly" strangers, moreover these strangers are not from your OWN country.

Okay MAYBE they really are trying to be friendly to you and just trying to make more friends with them being lonely here away from their country and not having much friends and all.

But with all these crimes happening in our country you can't help but to be more careful and stay away from strangers. What if they have something more then just be friends on their mind? You would become victim for trying to be friendly to these peoples.

So in the end most of the time I choose to be rude and not giving them any mode of contact even if they do look genuiely just want to be friend with me. It does makes me feels bad some time but hey, prevention is better than anything!

But in this case, I think I know what to do next time, give them an email, which is inactive, LOL~ at least I won't look too rude that way... =X Oh well~
